BRUCE R. BEKRITSKY

EDUCATION

Bruce attended Brooklyn Law School
(Class of 1973). He also attended the
prestigious National Institute of Trial
Advocacy (NITA) where practicing lawyers
are taught the fine nuances of litigation.

In addition, he has completed forty hours
of mediation training which made him eligible
to be a member of the Association for Conflict Resolution.



EXPERIENCE

Bruce's more than twenty-five years'
experience include representing New York
City's poor in actions for better housing,
health care, and food for deprived families.
As an associate with a firm representing
New York City police officers, Bruce defended
the rights of officers in Federal and State
Courts. He has argued appeals before the
First and Second Departments of the Appellate
Division, the Court of Appeals, and the Federal
Second Circuit.

Bruce has edited articles of Bender's forms
for the Civil Practice, Bender's Forms of
Pleading, and Bender's Forms for the Consol-
dated Laws.



AREAS OF PRACTICE

Bruce's concentrates on matrimonial and
family law; commercial collections and
foreclosures; real property sales and
landlord-tenant proceedings; and personal
injury, including automobile accidents. In
addition Bruce is trained as a Court Evaluator
and Guardian and as a Divorce Mediator.
