Why You Want Jem Back: I grew up watching Jem, it was a show that makes me smile
thinking back to my childhood days .. and not very many things do that. I
cried so hard when they cancelled the show. Jem showed me how important
friends are and why we need conflict in our lives. I think the show had
helped me cope with being a kid in a messed up world. Not bringing Jem
back would be a tragic move, the kids now need something holesome on
TV, something that shows them respect, friendship, honesty and love.

Why You Want Jem Back: Jem was on tv whilst i was growing up. I loved it and used to

Why You Want Jem Back: I watched Jem as a child. As a young adult I still watch Jem.
I have seasons 1-4 on dvd and watch it all the time. I think it is
important for girls to have a role model like that because when i was young
she was my role model. Cartoons today are so violent. I would love to
turn the tv on and see Jem.

Why You Want Jem Back: Okay not to diss Barbie but...Jem was more than a blonde
"sisy" idol that girls worshipped. I wasn't even born in the 1980's but I
saw a video of Jem and fell in love ever since! She is motivational,
sensational, and her show is MORE intelligent than ANY stupid Barbie movie
I've EVER seen (and trust me I've seen a lot!)So bringing her show
back, but maybe giving her a little bit of a more modern twist would not
only bring lots of fans, it would also give girls a rolemodel who isn't

Why You Want Jem Back: My sister Alicia made me watch the show growing up. We only
had one TV in our house, and I had to let her watch that so I could
watch He-Man right after it. Reluctantly, I grew to actually like the
cartoon (God help me), and the music was actually pretty decent. The
animation was ahead of its time, and the characters were pretty good role
models for girls back then (as opposed to the Britney's of today). It's
my wish that they re-vamp and bring Jem into the new millenium for the
new generation to enjoy as much as we did when we were younger (though
you'll never catch me admitting that to any of my buddies in the bar).
Let's make our voices heard for once and bring back one of the best
cartoons from the Golden Age of Cartoons!!!

offensive about it at all. It's merely about 4 powerful young women who work
hard to suceed and doign the right thing. How could have this been so
bad to the parents of the 80's? All I know is that it wouldn't hurt kids

I used to watch it as a child, and for some reason now have become a
musician. I havent even thought about jem for years until recently and i
think it might be a missing link for me, my mother used to watch it
with me, so for me its a bit sentimental.Besides its really a great show
