PREDICTING A DISASTER OR NO?

In the year 1898 Morgan Roberstson wrote a novel about a luxory ocean liner that met the same disaster as Titanic's this story was written 14 years before Titanic's maiden voyage. As Morgan was in the middle of this novel he sketched a picture of the ship that was quite identical to Titanic. Keep in mind it was not possable for him to have a glimps of the Titanic in order to sketch it because nothing was mentioned of the Titanic till the year 1909 when the build order papers were made. This ship almost shared the same name it was called "The Titan" She shared many of Titanic's caristics, Quite Luxurious, 4 steamstacks, The Titan was only 100 feet off of Titanic's size everything else was exact.
STRANGE FACT: The Titanic had two copies of this mysterious book on board. It was called "Futility" then. One copy of this was in the library and the other was found in a officers quarters. Was this book predicting the future? Was it Cursed? You decide for yourself...... You can find this strange book in your book stores today under the name of "The Wreck of the Titan."

WHERE IS SHE TODAY?

The Titanic lays 2.5 miles under the Grand Banks. The cordinates are 41o46'N, 50o14W, (could be about 15 miles off in any direction)She lays broken in half where she fell to rest that night April 15th 1912. This disaster changed the history of many things forever. For example......Titanic was only required to have enough life boats for half the crew and passengers. They had more then expertations required yet they lost more then they saved.

DISCOVERY

The discovery of the Titanic was made September 1st at 1am in 1986. She was found by "Robert Ballered" He never claimed her as his own in court because he said she belonged to everyone and is there to study. He wishes he had claimed her after people got greedy and had taken what shouldnt have been taken.

Mrs. Rosa Abbott- She was the only women to acctually go down on the Titanic and live to tell her tale.
Alvin- The first ship (mini sub) to allow people such as "RobertBallered" to go down to Titanics depths unharmed.
Argo-A robot that helped find the Titanic and is still used today.

TRIBUTE TO THE BAND

The bravest men on this ship would have to be the band. The members of the band were P.C. Taylor, W.T. Bralley, J.L Humo, G. King, W. Woodward, W. Harher (Leader). As the ship was sinking the Captain ordered them to play cheerful music to keep the crowd in a good mood and to try and not worry that they would be saved. The capitain relived them from their duties but they played on as the maiden met her fate. Thelast song they played was "Nearer my God to thee" They drown on the Titanic and didnt even try to escape the tragic fate. Their bodies werent found but they have a momument with bronzed instruments in the Halifax cemetary for them. They still live on just as the Titanic still does.

The hope that could have saved Titanic

On the night of April 15th 1912 there was a ship only 9 miles away called "The Californian." The Californians officers were standing on the deck and spoted the distress signals and woke up the Capitan. He said leave I bet it will go away soon their just having a party! Well the problem did go away but not how the Capitan thought it would. Californians Marconni operators didn't respond to Titanic's calls because the operator went to bed as soon as one of Titanic's marconni men told him to shut up and go away when he was trying to deliver a iceberg warning. The Capitain regreted his decision to his death bed. e died in 1962 and the Californian was torpedoed in World War 1.

Titanic Sisters

The Titanic had two sisterships which had the same build like body. The Olympic and Britanic. In the ship yards Titanic was almost mistaken for the Olympic. Titanic was the biggest of the three. All three ships were never Christened with the champien bottle against the hull. White Star Line didnt belive in this ceremony.
Olympic: The Olympic is the oldest of the three she was finished before Titanic, Stronger then Titanic and should have been given the name in which Titanic was given. "Unsinkable" The Olympic was truely unsinkable. Her first accident happened September 20,1911. The Olympic had a collision with "The Hawk." Under the comand of "E.J. Smith" After the Britanic sank and in the middle of world war 1 (Year 1918) Olympic ran over and sank a floating lighthouse. She still stayed afloat but was claimed to be to destructable and was ordered to be scrapped.
Britanic: The Britanic was Titanics younger sister. She was used as a hosptial ship in World War 1. She was sunk by a German Torpedo. She was going to be named "Gigantic" but the white star line thought the name was cursed.

What does the Name Titanic Mean

The name Titanic was partly taken from a Greek God "The Titan". Titan wasd the lord od the water. it describes shere size , strengthand Beauty. They used this name because he Titanic was Gigantis. In feet 882.5 feet or 4 city blocks long. She stood as tall as a 11 sotry building. She was fast and thought to have been strong. (not as strong as they thought) Overall she was very beautiful.
