Karen's Pie Crust


Makes 2 - 9" pie crusts or 1 - 9" pie with top and bottom crust

  • 3 cups flour
  • 6 T. butter
  • 1/2 cup butter flavored Crisco
  • 1/4 cup cold water
  • 1/4 tsp salt

Preparation -
With a fork or a pastry blender, combine the flour and salt with the butter and Crisco to form coarse crumbs. Stir cold water into the crumbs to form dough. Refrigerate for a few hours before rolling.
