Grilled Shrimp Scampi


  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp. all purpose seasoning
  • 2 T. white wine
  • 1 lb. large shrimp - peeled and deveined
  • wooden skewers

Preparation -
Mix the olive oil, minced garlic, seasoning and white wine in a shallow baking dish. Place the shrimp on skewers, about 4 or 5 shrimp per skewer. Place the skewered shrimp in the olive oil mixture and marinate for 1-1/2 to 2 hours, turning over 2 or 3 times. Prepare a charcoal fire or gas grill for cooking. Remove the skewered shrimp from the marinade. Grill the skewered shrimp, over medium hot coals, for about 5 minutes. Turn the shrimp over, brush with the reserved marinade, and grill for about 6 more minutes.
