Barbecued Spareribs


  • 1 medium onion
  • 2 T. margerine
  • 1/2 cup celery
  • 1 cup ketchup
  • 3/4 cup water
  • 2 T. vinegar
  • 2 T. lemon juice
  • 2T.Worstershire Sauce
  • 2 T. brown sugar
  • 1 tsp. yellow mustard
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp. pepper
  • 2 lbs. country style pork spareribs

Preparation -
Blend all ingredients except ribs in a blender or a food processsor. Place ribs in a shallow baking pan. Bake at 325º for 30 minutes. Revove from oven & drain fat. Increase oven temp. to 375º. Pour blended sauce over ribs. Bake 1 hour longer.
