From the start Kevin Nash was a stellar athelete. His size (6' 10" by the age of 14) made him a force on the basketball court. In 1977 he was Michigan's number two highschool basketball prospect, second only to Magic Johnson and, upon graduation from Southgate Aquinas Highschool,He recieved invitations from nearly 200 colleges.
1978-1980
He eventually chose the University of Tennessee where he played for three tempestuous seasons. His college career came to a premature end in 1980 after a confrontation with Head Coach Don DeVoe after a loss to Kentucky. He finished the year as a starter but did not return for his final year.

Kevin Nash will always be one of the biggest men in Pro-wrestling,as much for the talent he brings into the ring as his physical size.Witty, charismatic and possessing tremendous ring presence he is one of the most exciting stars ever to grace the sport. Not limited to the wrestling ring,he's also been on T.V. shows such as "Sabrina, the Teenage Witch" and the new "Love Boat" as well as in the movie "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles II".
This year would bring him great success, culminating in his winning the WWF title in November by jackknife powerbombing and pinning Bob Backlund in 8 seconds. He would hold the title for 358 consecutive days, one of the longest modern WWF reigns. He proved an extremely popular and lucrative champion for the WWF,defending his belt against the likes of Bret Hart,Shawn Michaels,Sycho Sid etc.He would not lose the belt until Survivor Series 1995 where he lost to Bret Hart.
WCW had not seen the last of Kevin Nash.In June of 1996 he returned as the surprise Scott Hall had promised on Nitro two weeks before. This time he needed no flashy gimmick,Kevin Nash was back as himself and that was enough.Under the premise that they were "invaders" from a rival orginization the two proceeded to wreak havoc in WCW as the Outsiders.Things came to a final pass at the Great American Bash when it was finally revealed that the third member of their group was none other than Hulk Hogan.Together, the three formed an outlaw group called the New World Order (nWo).In the weeks that followed the nWo proceeded their hostile takeover, recruiting other WCW stars as well as then WCW Executive Vice-President Eric Bischoff. The nWo generated huge ratings for Nitro as fans tuned in each week in record numbers. But after a time, seperate factions formed in the nWo,egos clashed and soon the Wolfpack, led by Kevin Nash, and the nWo Black and White, led by Hogan, split off from each other.
As the nWo fizzled,Kevin Nash only got hotter. In November 1998 he won World War Three and got his title shot against the indestructable Goldberg at Starcade. It would the first of his two WCW championship titles the second to be won from Diamond Dallas Page at Slamboree in 1999.His second WCW title reign ended when he lost the belt to Randy Savage at Bash At The Beach.
The New Millenium brought a resurgeance to the nWo and a heated feud with Sid Vicious. Kevin, along with cohorts Scott Hall,Jeff Jarrett and Scott Steiner, revived the New World Order, promising a new era in the WCW.As the nWo grew stronger it reverted to its old ways of wreaking havoc wherever it went despite the efforts of Terry Funk, who was named new WCW commissioner. But Kevin and the nWo prevailed, destroying Funk and removing him from office to be replace by Kevin Nash.Kevin has been gone for the last couple of months, healing from an ankle injury but we are all waiting and watching for the Biggest Star in Pro-Wrestling to make his triumphant return.
