Hell is a place so terrible
that a few words cannot accurately
describe the eternal horrors
faced by the damned.
Hell is the second death.
"But the fearful, and unbelieving,
and the abominable, and murderers,
and whoremongers, and sorcerers,
idolaters, and all liars,
shall have their part in the lake
which burns with fire and brimstone:
which is the second death."
(Revelation 21:8)
Hell is a place for those who
perish.
Jesus said,
"For God so loved the world,
that He gave His only begotten Son,
that whosoever believes in Him
should
not PERISH, but have everlasting
life.
(John 3:16)
Hell is a place to fear.
Jesus said,
"But I will forewarn you whom you
shall fear: Fear him, which after he
has killed has power to cast into
hell;
yea, I say unto you, Fear him."
(Luke 12:5)
Hell is a place of no rest.
"And the smoke of their torment
ascendeth up for ever and ever:
and they have no rest day nor night,
who worship the beast and his image,
and whosoever receives the mark
of his name."
(Revelation 14:11)
Hell is a burning Lake of Fire.
"And whosoever was not found written
in the book of life
was cast into the lake of fire."
(Revelation 20:15)
Hell is a horrible tempest for the
wicked.
"Upon the wicked he shall rain
snares,
fire and brimstone,
and an horrible tempest: this shall
be
the portion of their cup."
(Psalms 11:6)
Hell is a place of damnation.
Jesus said,
"You serpents, you generation of
vipers,
how can you escape the damnation of
hell?"
(Matthew 23:33)
Hell is a place of
weeping and gnashing of teeth.
Jesus said,
"But the children of the kingdom
shall be cast out into outer
darkness:
there shall be weeping
and gnashing of teeth."
(Matthew 8:12)
Hell is a place of eternal torments.
"And the devil that deceived them
was cast into the lake
of fire and brimstone, where
the beast and the false prophet are,
and shall be tormented day and night
for ever and ever."
(Revelation 20:10)
Hell is a furnace of fire.
Jesus said,
"And shall cast them into a
furnace of fire: there shall be
wailing and gnashing of teeth."
(Matthew 13:42)
Hell is a place of destruction.
"Who shall be punished
with everlasting destruction
from the presence of the Lord,
and from the glory of his
power."
(2 Thessalonians 1:9)
Hell is a place of
everlasting punishment.
Jesus said,
"And these shall go away into
everlasting punishment:
but the righteous into life eternal."
(Matthew 25:46)
Hell is a place of eternal
damnation.
Jesus said,
"But he that shall blaspheme
against the Holy Ghost never has
forgiveness,
but is in danger of eternal
damnation."
(Mark 3:29)
Hell is a place prepared
for the devil and his angels,
but men still go there by choice!
Jesus said,
"Then shall He say also unto them
on the left hand, Depart from me,
ye cursed, into everlasting fire,
prepared for the devil and his
angels:"
(Matthew 25:41)
Hell is a place of fire and brimstone.
"The same shall drink
of the wine of the wrath of God,
which is poured out without mixture
into the cup of his indignation;
and he shall be tormented with
fire and brimstone in the presence
of the holy angels,
and in the presence of the Lamb:"
(Revelation 14:10)
Hell is a place for those
who have rejected the Lord Jesus
and His work pure blood sacrifice
on the cross.
"Of how much sorer punishment,
suppose ye, shall he be thought
worthy,
who has trodden under foot
the Son of God, and hath counted
the blood of the covenant,
wherewith he was sanctified,
an unholy thing, and has done
despite unto the Spirit of
grace?"
(Hebrews 10:29)
Hell is such a terrible place that
in order to provide a way out of it,
salvation, God became a man,
died on the cross, rose from the
dead
in payment for our sins.
Jesus Christ paid the ultimate price
in order to provide salvation from
an eternity in hell, leaving us all
with an eternal decision to make.
The entire issue is with sin.
Sin is YOUR disease.
God is a holy, righteous God,
there can be no sin in His presence.
There will be no sin in Heaven.
The penalty for sin is death,
eternal death and separation from God.
Sin must be paid for.
Either a person accepts the Lord
Jesus
and allows Him to pay for his sins,
OR
a person may freely reject
Jesus Christ and salvation and
choose
to pay for his sins himself.
Jesus already paid YOUR penalty but
if YOU want to reject Him then
YOUR penalty still must be paid.
Either the Jesus is your Lord,
OR
YOU choose to pay for YOUR sins
yourself.
That simple!
The decision is entirely YOURS to
make.
Are you a FOOL?
Will YOU die from the disease of SIN
because you rejected the CURE?
Are YOU going to reject Jesus Christ?
OR
Will you accept Him
as your Lord and Saviour and have
YOUR sins washed away by HIS blood.
Your eternal destination hangs
in the balance...
