20-year-old Daisuke is currently training with Utako Nagamitsu, with choreography by Nikolai Morozov, in Osaka, Japan and Simsbury, USA . He won the Jr. Worlds in 2002, and is the current 2005/2006 Sr. Men's Champion of Japan.

• Daisuke won the silver medal at the 2006 Skate Canada International, with a personal best score of 78.80 in the SP!
• Daisuke placed 8th at the 2006 Olympic Games in Turin, Italy
