Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 2

The Tony Hawk game series started in 1999 and catapulted the extreme sports video game genre into popularity. A skateboarding game had never successfully employed a 3D environment before, but Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater (THPS) did it with fluid motion and high levels of control. The series has been hugely successful, resulting in ten games from eighteen different developers on twenty different gaming platforms. In 2000 Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 2 came out and was the best selling Playstation game that year. Arguably the best game in the series, THPS 2 is an excellent game because of its good level of difficulty, fun multi-player modes, and high replay value.
