ok this is what happened nodoubt.com announced a secret show the only way to
go was to win tickets. i didnt win. the people who did win could take 1
guest. the night before the show some 16 year old guy named jeff emails me and says he'll give me
his extra ticket and he needs a ride. turns out he finds a ride so
i just have to meet him there (it was at Wadsworth Theater by UCLA). so i
meet him there yesterday at noon and he's this cute punky looking high
school kid die hard no doubt fan. he was really nice, and he said he said he could have taken one of his friends but he
would rather taken another fan since this is a really huge opportunity. so
we wait in line really early, meet some other people. so jeff me and this other girl (dawna) are
in the parking lot and a limo pulls up kinda near us. GWEN and tony (the
bassist) get out. gwen walks over to us (she is BEAUTIFUL!)and says hi
thanks for coming blah blah. i give her a roxy bracelet i get just in case i
would see hershe gives me a hug is really appreciative and i feel like i'm
gonna pass out but i stayed calm so i wouldnt look like a trl dumbass. we
take pictures and stuff then this big mass of people from everyone else who
was in line comes and gushes over her. half the people are crying but she's
super nice and tried to meet everyone despite her bodyguards telling her she
has to leave. so then i see tony standing on the side by himself, everyone
is just fixed on gwen so i go over and talk to him a little. then they go
inside. we wait in line for like 4 more hours they finally let us in at
about 6. jeff and i run in straight to the front of the stage,we are in the
second row right in front of gwen. there is nothing blockng the stage so
sometimes she is right over us. and it turns out it wasnt really a concert
but a taping for some show. but they played a full hour set including 4 new
songs.it was awesome. we got to give her roses too. unfortunatly we couldnt
take cameras in so i only took 3 pictures the whole day. so yeah that was my
day. it was weird going to a show without my own friends but it all worked out really well!
