My "Uncle" Lumpy

My Uncle Lumpy was a Manchu in Vietnam.  His patch was red.  He was with the 25th Infantry.  They were called the 4rth and 9th. ( I think ) He was there in 1970.

This is a Manchu patch.

Lumpy says he was a grunt and carried a big gun called a 60
This is a 60

I asked him what  he did in Vietnam and he said
"Lumpy hump the big gun ."
I asked him what else and he said,
" 10 months of squad size night ambush
never left one drop of my blood in that stinkin' country
but  we all should have purple hearts."

This is a picture of Lumpy's llama.
The llama's name is Posh.
Posh is a guard llama.
Posh wasn't in-country, but he should have been.

Lumpy, here is a purple heart for you.
