Other Information The current Graf of Danigau comes from an unbroken line of Danigs traced to times before Deismaar. His family is possibly the oldest in modern Brecht. Tradition is strong in the family, and the Graf reflects his noble heritage in his proud bearing and demeanor. As the eldest child, Erik studied magic, which is required for every Graf. Despite that, he is a great military leader, though he only engaged in defensive actions against attacks from Urga-Zai, and has never yet led an attack on another land. Though many think the Graf is an unbending military leader, in fact he prizes the benefits of civilization and is an avid art collector. However, he has no patience for ignoble acts and views sycophants and fawning courtiers with contempt. This attitude also molds his views of other races. The Graf respects the civilization and technological advancement of Anuireans and Khinasi, but considers Anuireans hopeless militarists who need to be put in their place. He views the Rjuven as simple but good people that need to be instructed in the benefits of civilization, and the Vos as brutish savages almost on the same level as goblins, with little hope of redemption. Erik also respects the ancient cultures of elves and dwarves.

Notes & Other Information

Despite his sorcerous training, the Count is a military minded man, and his draconian laws have kept the realm safe from the Urga-Zai goblins and the irates of the Great Bay.
90% of Danigau's citizenry attend regular services of Sera's Perfekt Symmetry, but most are but casual followers at best. There remains little religious observation in the realm, though with the Count's recent support of the temple, devotion has risen slightly.
The brother/sister guilds are well known for their dislike of each other, and this is only fueled by Danig's recent decision to allow Volse Redbedtehr to build, staff, and own his own ships instead of leasing them from the Crown.
The Count controls all sources within Danigau, and is erknown for his quick & severe brutality in quelling any rival wizards from garnishing the smallest source from the land. Each province is rumoured to be connected by Ley Line, probably to the Count's most powerful source in Kantswatch.
The Count recieves RPs as vassalge from all the regents in the realm, but the actual amount varies depending upon demands, but is always at least 15 RPs, as well as a total tribute of 12 GB every season.
By law, every adult in Danigau must be trained in the use of weapons & small unit tactics. As such, the Count can raise normal infantry units at the same cost as levies. These units can only fight as regular infantry for a single domain turn, and then will be convertedd to levie units if maintained there after.
The city of Blackgate is the only large city in the realm, but is a true fortress. Complete with 4 sets of outer walls and Blackgate Castle itself. The City relies on no outside support to feed or clothe its populace. It is a city designed to out last even the longest seige.
There is a standing reward for information on the activities of both the Urga-Zai & the Gorgon's minions. Misinformation presented in the form of intelligence is considered the same as stealing, and bears the penalty of being thrown to the Kraken.
