VARIANT
Upon receiving my third Hamilcar Glider one option I plan to consider is to replace the Air Landing Heavy Anti-tank Platoon with a Troop of three Mk VII Tetrarch Light Airborne Tanks from the 6th Airborne Armoured Reconnaissance Regiment.
This is definitely a trade off of firepower for mobility. The 17 pdr is an excellent tank killer and can even give the TIGER a moment of pause. Like any towed weapon it does have the liabilities of deployment and set up.
The Tetrarch's 2pdr is not a major threat to the German Panzers. The Little John gun adapter improves the AP capability some at the expense of not being able to fire HE. Another consideration is to take one of the Close Support Tetrarchs with a 3" Howitzer.
