She was born on November 12, 1931;in Carthage, Illinois, the daughter of Fred and Grace Schloaser Stepp.

Survivors include: a daughter, Gloria J. and her husband, John Germann of West Point, Illinois; four sons, Ronald D. and his wife, Rhonda Mann of Nacaduches, Texas, William F. and his wife, Nancy Mann of Texline, Texas, Raymond C. and his wife, Patty Mann of Fort Stockton, Texas, Richard W. and his wife, Debbie Mann of West Point, Illinois; two brothers, Leroy and his wife, Mary Stepp of Keokuk, Iowa and Fred "Fritz" and his wife, Alice Stepp of Milwaukee, Wisconsin; two sisters, Josephine Mason of Warsaw, Illinois, and Pauline Stepp of Keokuk, Iowa; 12 grandchildren; and 8 great-grandchildren.

She was further preceded in death by her parents; two sons; three brothers; and three sisters.

She was a certified nurses assistant. She enjoyed working with the elderly, reading, doing hand work and being with family and friends.

Graveside services were held Wednesday October 20, 1999 at Oakland Cemetary in Warsaw, Illinois with the Rev. Charles Hadsall officiating.

A memorial has been established in her memory to benefit Hospice.

Lamporte Funeral Home of Warsaw, Illinois was in charge of arrangements.
