WARSAW, Ill. - Pauline C. Stepp, 76, of Warsaw, Ill., died at 1:15 a.m. Sunday, June 3, 2001, at the Keokuk Nursing Center in Keokuk.

She was born on May 23, 1925, in Carthage, Ill., the daughter of Fred and Grace E. Schlosser Stepp.

Survivors include: two brothers, LeRoy Stepp of Keokuk and Frederick Stepp of Milwaukee, Wis.; a sister, Josephine Stepp Mason of Warsaw; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers, Raymond, Charles and William; and four sisters, Marion, Dorothy, Clara and Kathryn.

She loved to sing and dance and enjoyed spending time outside.

Miss Stepp also enjoyed playing with children, especially her nieces and nephews.

She also enjoyed animals, especially dogs and cats.

Miss Stepp was of the Christian faith.

Graveside services are at 1 p.m. Thursday at the Moss Ridge Cemetery, Carthage, with the Rev. Charles Hadsall officiating.

Visitation is after 2 p.m. Wednesday with family meeting friends from 7 to 9 p.m. at Lamporte Funeral Home of Warsaw.
