Ivy Bottom hails from the Scottsboro, Alabama area. The band was formed in June, 1994. After several months of practice and quite a few gigs, Ivy Bottom has honed their sound into a dynamic mix of southern rock, blues, classic rock, and alternative. The band's wide range of influences include everything from Bill Monroe to Metallica.
Ivy Bottom has played locally at Roseberry Pub And Grille, Hurricanes, and at several local festivals. The band has also been played a number of shows all over north Alabama, opening for such national acts as Slick Lilly and Num, as well as headlining their own shows.
The band experienced a highlight in its career by getting the opportunity to open a show for Virgin Records recording Artist, Brother Cane.
