I am working on my family tree and at the moment am interested in my
3great-grand father,John Dyer. I believe John was born in TN abt 1790. He
is first found in Marion Co, AL in 1830 and never moved. State boundaries
change and put John in Itawamba Co, MS in 1836. He remained on the home place
until his death in 1846. John and wife Leannah had 11+ children and they scattered
through out the southern states.
