Samoa Joe Proto
Haven't done this in a while, so let's see if I still remember how. This is just the basic parts choice. Ahmad Johnson legs, Flash Funk torso, L.O.D. arms and a Rock head.
A few improvements. Started sanding down the massive boots and kneepads. A lot of sculpting will eventually take place in that area. Also started sanding down the torso. I'll also have to fill out the crotch piece to match the toroso.
Knee pads and boots started getting slimmed down and filled in. Also started to round out the crotch piece and the wrist tape sculpting.
The early stages of the head moderations.
Sculpted on the hem of the shorts and started the wrist tape on the left hand. Still building up the crotch and a few mods to the head. I also dilled out a hole on the right knee pad.
Capped off the tops of the boots and started on the kickpads. Had to alter the short hem on the right leg to even them up a little bit. Wrist tape on the left arm getting finished up as well as the wrist tape around on the forarm coming along.
Also a few more serious head mods, including cheeks, nose and brow. The nose is being made too big on purpose so it can be sanded down later.
More mods to the face, especially the nose and brow.
Cleaning up the knee pad hole and a few more body and boot/kickpad mods.
Started sculpting the stomach and chest muscles on the torso. Joe's gettin' the flab.
I decided to actually sculpt on the waistband of the shorts to sort of balance out the shape of the upper body. Obviously the head has been attached and the neck joint is being filled in with putty. Also doing some more work on the stomach, peck and added an abdomin flab.
More work on the upper flab, filled in some patches, fixed the chest a little bit to balance it more. Getting the hair sculpted and decided to put in the kickpad wrinkles.
Sculpting is done, primer is on, now it's time to paint.
