The whole ECE-B 2001 class express our deepest condolences to Mr. Rudi Ramin and his family for the untimely death of their beloved father. We continue to pray for eternal peace of his soul.

CONGRATULATIONS TO OUR ZILOG ECE-B'ers - September 18, 2002
Weng and Cielo has made the ECE-B 2001 proud once again as they excel in their fields of work. Together with the rest of the Production and Testing Departments, they bagged the top prize for their company-wide competition which showcases the different contestant teams' skills for planning and implemenation of proposals that will make the quality and productivity of Zilog Philippines better. What makes this more amazing is that Weng was the leader of this winning team! So, from the B Portal, keep up the good work and mabuhay kayo!!!
MIXED EMOTIONS: MARK'S SURPRISE DESPEDIDA PARTY

All systems went up last Saturday, September 14 (2002 of course!) as the ECE-B 2001 gang troop to Mark's residence at Sta Mesa Heights in Quezon City because... aalis na si Mark (WAAAAAAAAAAHHHH!)
sob... sniff.. (Ok, I'll just wipe away my tears for a moment) hikbi...
The time: 7.00 PM (at least for Mel, Donats, and AJ!) But the guests started trickling in past 7.30 as heavy rains early in the day caused monster traffic in Manila. But the 'B' never failed Mark. In attendance were (bukod sa tatlong gustong makauna sa pagkain...) Erik (ikaw ba nag-cause ng ulan?) the master planner, Cocoy, Paolo, and their significant others, Gerry (of course) the food coordinator, Den, Kat, Brye, Anna, Patrick, Rommie, Macky, Carlo, Tyrone, Kate, Toni, Paul, Joel, Ambrosio (mirror-image daw ni Macky?! sino lugi?), Pablo (Gerry's bro.. tama ba?), and many others (sorry, poor memory).. and most of all, the most significant guest of them all, Shirley (the.. uumph!.. of Mark's life!). Mawala na lahat, wag lang siya (pero syempre, sya lang magbabayad, lugi naman kami.hehe - joke). And, very timely also, the relatives of Mark also joined the get-together.
Now let's talk about the food. Yum, healthy food I must say. Di ko alam mga pangalan eh, basta may beef, may chicken, may carbonara, mixed veggies, and the highlight recipe (tadaa!!!) Mango Crepe Royale! Good job to Gerry's uncle's catering services for the good food, good service and good presentation!
Oh, meron palang Programme ang despedida party ni Mark? Of course, to make it more memorable for Mark when he goes to US, Donats was the host (parang ako yun ah?!). Gerry, co-host ka lang ha! But thanks for the hosting help, bud! The one man act became a stand-up comedy duo (imagine Eat Bulaga meets Parokya ni Edgar)! Di kasi dumating yung orig na co-host eh. As usual, Donats delivers the most fascinating, brilliant, lively, exhilirating, ultra superb hosting job ever in his whole career (ba? may career pa pala yun? langya!!). Some planned games weren't held but then again, the charades and a neat game (gerry's a genius talaga!) went on, revealing how Macky would act a pineapple, or how AJ would count 1... 2..., and how Pol got a 95 in Videoke (amidst resistance from the crowd).
Well, time for the presentation of the gift to Kuya Mawk. Solemn ceremony talaga... inihagis kay Mark yung brief nya! Well, the farewell tribute gift is an oversized Puritan brief (kay Jervis ba yun?) where everyone in the house wrote his or her special message to Mark...
The sad moment of the party has come, bidding goodbye and seeing for the last time your long-time classmates and friends sure is a hard thing to accept... but trust Mark to handle it (Mawk pa!). The class is really proud and lucky to have you as member, with your genuine friendship, academic and extra-curricular achievements, creative ideas for the class among others). And as you move on to the real challenges of life, we, your friends will always be there with you, not physically, but in spirit and prayers. We wish you the best and good luck. Your family and friends are always with you wherever you are. Mark, i-petition mo naman kami, ha?!

THE 1st ECE-B 2001 GRAND GET2GETHER DINNER

The master planners: AJ, Mark and Donats, were joined by the Go Girls minus Quennie, the PSG minus Rommie, Carlo, Prof, Tepen, Tatay and Mojix. Surprisingly, and much to our delight ang mga matagal nang nawawala na sina Weng at Macky ay nagpakita din! Si Tatay kasi, syempre, father's day the next day, kaya di nakapunta. Si Prof naman may previous engagement kaya di siya nakapunta. And others have work-related activities during that day. (inuna ba naman ang trabaho kesa kaibigan?! Ü )
The Legionnaires are quite depleted. The huge group managed to have only Mark (of course), Erik, Cocoy, Rye, Bjorn and Teta as representatives. And completing the cast are ECE-B 2001 by heart friends Vlad, Mia and Angel.
This event was the biggest since the class went to oathtaking last November 2001. Even that didn't saw the cast of ECE-B 2001 complete.
PSG GOES TO LAGUNA
- June 2002
The most stuck up 'sub-group' of ECE-B 2001 goes on a quick escape to Los Banos in Laguna for a quick dip to the pool and have a hearty talk and feast together. Oh, add to that some rounds in the karaoke machine. Si Rommie pala may balak maging Karaoke King?!
