Hinging With Tape
This is one method for using tape for hinges - works well with ailerons, elevators & rudders. I use packing tape - either colored or clear, depending on the application - I hope you find this helpful.
Usually, with foam planes, tape hinges should be applied:
1 - After the elevator/aileron has the final covering applied
2 - Before the horiz/vert stabilizer or wing has it's covering applied.
Note: Hinging with tape should not be used to join fabric covered pieces.
