Bob Beck Memorial Room

This room is dedicated to the life and times of Livingston's own big headed revolutionary ,

Bob Beck.

It charts the meteoric and unbelievable downfall of one of Livingstons most controversial and historic figures.

Even though I remember visiting Howden House on gala days during my youth ,

I always imagined it as some military HQ overlooking the town.

Since this was never the case I invented the character Bob Beck and his Revolution which ended here.

The closed in bunker-like ambiance of the room itself reminds me of the atmosphere found

in old military buildings that are occasionally converted in to museums.

So I set about creating a history using relics archives and photographs to tell his story.
