31, 5'8", married to the best guy in the universe--not just the world--living in the Finger Lakes Region of NYS away up in the foothills of the Allegheny Mts., with a little old 1860 farmhouse we are diligently restoring, have 1 stepson, 1 dog, 4 cats, 18 rabbits (I raise them for the pet stores here), a pet rat, I make folk wines, I carry a masters degree and I carry a badge. I'm a probation officer by day which I absolutely love, it's like being a cop but only with people on probation, not the general public. By night I am a lazy bum unless out on duty...Pet peeve on the forums: I find that telling people some of the things I do in the line of duty is a real conversation killer with some groups, and my ego is crushed when people on the forums don't believe I am an officer...especially when they ask for advice on crimes their neighbors commit then act like they don't believe me! Besides that I am a big nature fan, you will find me on Name That Animal and Birdwatching, and also on the Marriage Forum, the Pet Forum and occasionally on the Health Forum and some of the Home-related ones. Born in Guyana South America. Lived in St.Kitts, Barbados, Montserrat and Antigua. Moved to the U.S in 1988-Washington DC for school. Got married in 1990. Had first born in 1991 Then moved to Columbus Ohio for law school. Had second born in 1993, 7 months before law school started. Then moved to Chicago on graduation in 1997. Main area of practice-labor law. Then moved to Atlanta in 1999, bought a house settled down and aint movin again.LOL

Alli - I am a crafter, this week I am into mosaics. I collect Frogs and ALLIgators. I have
been married since November 23rd, it was my dear departed Nana's birthday so we jetted
up to Vegas and did it in the drive thru chapel. I love to go camping. I love Vegas,
especially the black jack tables. I tend to the flowers and my DH tends to the veggies in
the yard. The only "kids" I have are an 18 month old ferret named Hazel and two tree
frogs, each 2.5 years old, Monica and Newman.
I am looking for SoCal KTers to get together with...I haven't met anyone from the KT
yet!

amy here, from Pacific NW too. Three kids under five, SAHM, used to be a Marriage
and Family Therapist and will be again some day, LDS, and love to interior decorate on a
budget.
AndreaNJ -Wow! What a diverse group! I am 33, and will be married 7 years this December 5th. (itch itch, LOL) I have fraternal twin 3 year old boys, who are handsome, charming and mischievous all in one! Gotta love em! We live in New Jersey, I work full time ....for now...plans to go part time once the boys start school (someone's got to take them to practice LOL!) DH and I love to work on the house, garden and decorate. I used to do cross stitch (pre-children) and love to cook/eat!

Work as a legal assistant/office manager and love it (but would also love more time to play on the computer and work on my web pages!)

Angel -Hi, I've been reading the posts for the last few days & I decided its high time I introduced myself. From what I have read there are lots of interesting,funny and helpful people & topics here. I'm 46, married & have one son who's 11 and we live in Alberta Canada. I love spending time on the computer, cross stitching, crafts of all kinds, reading, gardening, animals, we have 3 cats & fish and had a hamster, he just passed away after Christmas, I'm still missing him. There so many things to chat about & I wanted to find a place that would be like having a coffee & visit at my kitchen table and I think I have. So hi everyone, I'm looking forward to joining in.

I am a KT "returner." I kind of pop in and out as my life gets more and less hectic. I'm 28 - married for 9 years to a wonderful 28-year-old romantic. No kids, but two furkids: Nixon the terrier, and Dinky the tortoise-shell cat (both were rescued). I used to be a stockbroker, but after 4 years in the business, I found myself unfulfilled. I quit my job and went back to school. I now work 2 jobs (one of which is my own bookkeeping business) and I go to school full time. I will start graduate school for speech-language pathology this month, and I am looking forward to learning as much as I can. Ultimately, Iwould like to work with victims of traumatic brain injury or stroke, helping them to regain language or speech. I believe this will be much more rewarding than my previous
work. I'm glad to be part of the KT!
Angela Northern CA - Hi. This is my first time to this site. It's great. I'm 35 year old single mom of two. Son is 8 years old and daughter is 6 going on 30. We have 3 cats, Blue, Buster and Max. They are 15, 11 and 1. I just had to have my 13 year old cat put to sleep because of cancer. That was a sad day. We also have two baby rats which we definitely have to keep the cats away from. I've lived in Northern California forever. I work part-time for an attorney. I've just taken on the job of Brownie leader and am a little nervous about that but I think it will be fun once I know what I'm doing.

Hi I'm Angela. Lurk around here a lot but rarely post. Everyone seems so nice here at the
KT. Just turned 37. I have a DS who is 10 (Jordan) and a DD who is 8 (Kelsey). I work
for an attorney and have been with him for 17 years - don't know how I've managed that!
Also a girl scout leader in my spare time. We have three kitties (Buster, Jubilee and Max)
and two pygmie goats (Arnold and Rudy) who are the funniest little animals and so
personable.

I'm Angie, and I live in the beautiful western North Carolina mountains. I have a great
husband, two teenage sons and a hyper boston terrier. I'm a secretary for our local school
system, and definitely work to live, not live to work. I have just lived here for 1 1/2 years
and spend a lot of time exploring the area. After living in Atlanta, I feel like I'm on an
extended vacation living here.
Anita-MS -I'm 42,married to DH 16yrs,we have DD-14yrs, together,I have 2 sons from a pre.marriage,oldest,Donald-26,married and 1-23 month old son,LC-24,single,still at home.DH has 1DD from pre.marriage,she is 22 and has a 21 month old son. This is a classic case of yours,mine and ours!I love working with kids of all ages!!I do all crafts from crocheting to wood work.Love to decorate!!Everyone says they never know what my home looks like from one week to another.That is before we started remodeling!!Love to talk,doesn't matter where or who I will talk to anybody!!LOL Main place I visit is here,of course!!Also I'm the oldest girl in my family and I have to deal with the problems and troubles of my younger siblings,they all come running to me!!I believe in the Lord and all of His Glory,my faith can and has moved mountains.

Hi...I'm from beautiful Oregon. My hometown is about 30 mi west of Portland and 60 mi
east of the Pacific Ocean. I have been divorced for 26 yrs, no children but three house
cats that "make my day". I am semi retired. Obesity is a constant battle for me. Last
summer I met Pat from Cal Desert, Joanie from OR, Lynae from OR and Barbara from
MA. What fun meeting KTers!!!! I really enjoy KT even though I do not post very often.

Hi everyone. My name is Ann and I'm from Tennessee. I'm 39 (hope ya'll be there for me next year when I turn 40). I've been married for 17 years to a great guy and we have a 9 year old son. I live out in the country and love being outside, although lately it's been a little HOT. I work 10 hours a day Monday - Thursday, off on Friday's. I just came across this site a couple of weeks ago and I think it's fantastic. I've already learned alot. And everybody seems so friendly.

Hello all, I am Annie, older sister to Mary. I am 36 and have been married for 14 years. I
work as an events coordinator and proof reader. We have a 13 year old daughter and two
sons aged 11 and 10. We also have two dogs an African Grey Parrot and are looking for
two kittens for our daughter. We live in Seattle and on clear days I can see Mt Rainier and
the Cascade mountains out my windows. I enjoy reading, working in the yard, sewing,
counted x-stitch, antiqueing and being with the kids. My husband and I are restoring my
1971 yellow, convertible bug. It is in the body shop right now getting an extensive paint job
which is taking a month. Anybody want to go cruising!
Aunt Audrey OK I work from my home as an Illustrator/Design Artist, two grown children Stephen(29), and Jenelle(32), she has one daughter, Taylor(19 mo.).DH is an Attorney. I do several crafts, mostly oriental, make and market a "Big Boob" doll, gourmet cooking, ballroom dancing, am a big boxing fan. Collect "Marvin the Martian" junk! Also collect Buddhas. Live in Yukon,Okla.,although I am originally from SO.CA.
