rabbit on Thu, Oct 12, 00 Wow! I about missed this! Let's see if I can do this better this time. I am Rabbit. I am married to Mr R, love of my life, soon to be 6 years. (this is not the first try for either of us, but this time we got it right) I have two DS's (19 & 21) Mr R has one of each, in their 20's. I am 39, 5' 1" furry inches with medium brown hair and blue eyes, and cuddly in all the places a rabbit should be. I am diverse in that I love to try new things. I have done various crafts, tat, paint, sew, quilt, embroider, beading, ect. I used to love to cook, but with just the two of us, faster is more desirable than fancy. I love fixing up my house, and am quite the handyman. (the DeWALT cordless power drill is MINE!) I rarely ask Mr R to fix something, I just do-it-myself. I also went a little crazy with planting flowers for three years, and have quite a jungle in my yard. We are owned by a Doxie (Rex), Sheltie (Chevy), Akita (Dakota) and four cats, Shadow, Pebbles, Sugar, and Thomas Eugene. And a rabbit named BunBun. Mr R loves classic cars, and we usually have one around. We attend car shows, and swap meets. Mr R is an auctioneer, and we both work auctions when we can. Between auctions and yard sales, I have furnished my house, and stuffed my clothing drawers. I have a booth in an Antique mall, and enhance his income with that. I live in the Heartland, and love my small town. They may seem nosey, but they are the greatest bunch to have around when life kicks ya down. I would never wish to live in a city. I like the slow dull rural life. Guess that is it...
Ralph--VA on Sun, Sep 24, 00 I'm 50 years young, retired at age 41 after having made a few good business deals along the way. I've been happily married to the same wonderful woman for almost 28 years. She is a physician in private practice. We have one daughter who just recently graduated from nursing school and is currently working for her mom and at our local hospital. We have one son who is a senior in high school and aspires to become a federal marshall. We live in a small town in the Virginia mountains. One dog who adopted us. I enjoy the outdoors, observing nature and trying to figure out what makes trees grow. Some of my hobbies are photography, woodworking, politics, metal detecting, surfing the net, sky watching and model trains. I've had my share of life's tragedies (my father was murdered in 1977 when he happened upon two low lifes breaking into my home) but I've also been blessed far beyond anything I could have ever imagined. I like people but at the same time I'm a bit of a hermit. Well, a lot of a hermit so says my wife. I suppose my philosophy can be summed up this way: Be nice to people, don't take any crap from anybody, laugh along the way, be very mindful of the Big Guy above and wear clean underwear. Good grief, you still reading this? (I enjoy humor, too)

Redrose-WI I was going to post to this thread yesterday but I wasn't sure if I should tell you about my real life or my "real" life. I am 51--- no, 52 years old. I am 100% female, married for the 2nd time (yes, the 2nd time around is definately the best) & have a married son 34 & a married daughter 30. Hubbsy has 2 married daughters...Between us we have 7 Grandsons. If & when my DD (she's my only chance) ever has a child I would be most happy with a Grandaughter. Hubbsy & I are both ex-bankers who retired 10 years ago to pursue our "hobby" of traveling by Motorhome to various parts of the US to antique car shows & swap meets. The "hobby" has since turned into a full-fledged business where we buy, sell & trade antique automobile, truck, farm tractor, motorcycle, aircraft, boat & mobilia sales literature, owner's manuals & dealer items. Yep---we are swappers of old, smelly paper! In my leisure time (what the heck is that???) I enjoy my puter, sewing, decorating & cooking. I am an avid collector of Souvenir Custard Glass decorated with red roses (hence, my nickname) & old valentines depicting roses (for me) & cars (for him). I like Art Nouveau match safes, pins, clasps, belt buckles, etc. with the ladies with the long flowing hair featured & I also seek old linens, a new vice. I'm totally addicted to the Internet, specifically Ebay. When not traveling or in front of my monitor I enjoy antique shops & auctions. I have lived in Wisconsin all my life but spent my first 6 months of life in Iowa. I grew up on a farm with 7 siblings. I love living in the country with clean air, blue skys & sunshine. I relish privacy but feel I have an outgoing personality. Sorry this got so long. I forgot to mention I am a yapper...LOL. Ask me sometime about my "real life".
