Hi, I'm Wanda from the beautiful Shenandoah Valley in Virginia. I am 52 (ok, almost 53), married to a great man for almost 9 years and we retired to the mountains from the D.C. area 7 years ago. Bandit, a 6-year-old Yorkshire Terrier, allows us to live in his house and take care of his every desire. DH and I have 3 grown sons (2 are married) and 4 terrific grandsons. We enjoy being at home and taking care of our house and property, and only "come down off the mountain" when absolutely essential. I have been at KT for more than a year and have found the people here to be the best anywhere.
Wendy IA My name is Wendy. I am engaged to be married this July!!! I have two beautiful, smart, silly and sometimes sassy kids, Amanda and Taylor. I am 33. I have my own small crafting business and I do craft shows in our area. My fiance works for Grinnell College, and that is what brought us to Iowa from Spokane Washington...which will always be home for us. I love to cross stitch, do crafts, spend time with the family, cook and bake. (I do a lot of cooking and baking and that has put some pounds on that I am trying to take off!!!)I am a Christian and stay very active in our church.

I have been married almost 2 yrs now to my husband named Andrew. I also have a DS named andrew (we call him Andy) who just turned a year old on July 8. I work for the corps of engineers and my Husband works for a engineering company called Kobota. We both graduated from high school early and we are almost through with college! I guess you could say we are smart. LOL! We are very happy too! We have two fur friends (cats) named Chester and Sidney after the lake I work for ( I rescued them from someone who threw them off of a bridge and into the water). I really enjoy the friends I have made on the KT, I just don't get to visit that often due to my busy life. I like to cook and paint. My husband likes to do yard work. Well I guess that sums it up for now.
Whitney SC I live in Columbia, SC and I've been coming to the KT since Sept. 98 (Day Two, to be exact). I'm 35. I just got remarried in November to the most wonderful man on earth, who also happens to be my partner in the mortgage business that we own. I have two DDs, Morgan, age 10 and Haley, who will be 8 in three weeks. We are all owned by two tabby cats, named Romeo and Juliet. I love to read, play on the lake and shop!

Well for pete's sake!!! I'm not a newbie and can't believe I didn't post on this thread earlier. But have been coming and going a lot for the last few months so here goes a little now: Married, 1 married daughter, 1 grandson - 4 in January, Stay at home since we moved here to this town - 7 years ago. Live in a small town in southern Michigan. The town where my husband grew up. Moved here to be closer to his work and for a smaller house. We had begun to "rattle" around in the old one. Love gardening, and don't mind house work, except I am getting tired of cooking. And DETEST grocery shopping. Spend time on Lake Michigan in the summer and love being a Beach Bum while we are there. Love poking around this little town - lots of antique, gift shops, etc. Have a "fat" siamese cat that "somebody" has really spoiled! I am the youngest of 4 and my older sister lives here in this town so we spend a lot of time together - which is neat. Love my computer, but sometimes have to force myself to get off!! LOL Love the KT - people are the greatest. Have a great husband, daughter, son-in-law and grandson! Love them to pieces! Woogie-MI
