remember me, I was ten feet away
You were up there
under the spotlights
ten feet away
then you left me behind
I wasn't that hard to find
I was the one with stars in my eyes
and no way to disguise
my heart on my sleeve
These lights shining on me right now
probably aren't much different
than any you've seen before
I know that you know
that I was there that night
We looked each other in the eye
You don't know my name
but somewhere deep inside your brain
something will click in your head someday
and even if just for an instant
You'll think of me...
