The Goo Goo Dolls  are in a class all alone, in my opinion.  I love the vocals and the music.  John Rzeznik is the lead singer and has a lot to say in his songs.   His lyrics are more than just skin deep in most of his songs.  He has to be a Virgo..haha.  Just a little humor there..  But, in reality, he says a lot that needs to be really listened to.  Not all his songs are so deep, but all of them are definitely good.  He writes all the songs that he sings on the albums, I was told.  I love "Slide" and "Iris".  But, it is really hard to say which of all his songs that is my favorite.  If I had to choose one, it would be "Acoustic 3".  It tells of a young girl that is in a really bad family situation and how it has affected her life as well as her Mother's.   It is a very touching and stirring song to say the least.  Get the album "Dizzy Up the Girl" and give it a listen.  I will include a link here to a website that has all the songs from the album.  It is in Real Audio.  So, if you wanna hear their songs and check out their style, just click on the link below.  I don't think you will be disappointed.
