Personality: Nysadel is a very practical kind of person. She's very creative and loves making things. She's rather patient and can keep a cool head most of the time. Despite her background, she's not Bitter but rather greatful for her circumstances. She's very nice and extrovertive when around those that she knows well, but when faced with strangers, she can appear shy or even cold. She's veyr intelligent and passionate about what she does to the point of obsessing over her projects.
History: Nysadel was born to two trader parents who already had more children than they could afford. So, she and her younger sister were left in the care of her father's smith friend and his wife temporarily. However, the temporary stay became permanent. Luckily the smith and his wife only had one child of their own at the time and didn't mind the other two staying there. So, Nysadel grew up in their home and under their care.
While Nysadel's younger sister was always bitter about their situation in life, Nysadel was very greatful. She always pointed out to her sister the fact that things could have gone much worse for them. To show her gratitude, she did everything she could to both help around the hold and to stay out of everyone's way so as not to cause any trouble to anyone. She often visited the nearby beach when she wasn't at home, and in this way she grew up fairly happy as well as Impressed some friends. She seemed to have an almost uncanny way of finding clutches of firelizards that were ready to hatch.
As Nysadel grew older, she became more perceptive and more practical. She knew she had to find something useful to do with herself, and she had great love for music and a decent talent for it. Music, however, was not very practical in itself and would not prove very useful to her in the future. She also loved to create things. While her older adopted sister had learned weaving, she'd love watching the threads come together to form patterns or pictures, but she was no weaver. She'd also enjoyed watching her foster father at work as a smith, but smithing wasn't for her either. Eventually, she found a craft that did suit her needs and desires and left for the Woodsmith Hall.
Unfortunately, Nysadel was still an apprentice at the hall when she was Searched for a rather unique clutch. However, her joy at the possibility of Impressing far outweighed the loss of further education and opportunities to create things.
