In this gallery, I will include various road pictures from throughout Texas, the Lone Star State. This is a nice picture showing Houston's skyline from Interstate 10 heading west. The junction between US 59 and Interstate 10 is seeing a major reconstruction, therefore, one cannot access US 59 south (the Southwest Freeway) from Interstate 10 in either direction. This part of US 59 will likely become part of future Interstate 69 when it reaches Houston.

Interstate 610 East at Interstate 45 in Houston. This picture shows the first BGS indicating the upcoming junction with Interstate 45 in south Houston. Downtown is located about eight miles to the north and Galveston is located about fifty miles to the south.
Interstate 20 West at Exit 499 in Terrell. This picture shows where motorists depart Interstate 20 in route to downtown Dallas. US 80 will end at Interstate 30 just to the east of downtown.
Interstate 35 North at Interstate 10 in San Antonio. This picture shows where Interstate 35 North meets I-10 just south of downtown San Antonio. I-35 and I-10 will share a brief duplex along the western fringes of downtown before they split.
Interstate 37 South at Interstate 10 in San Antonio. This picture shows where Interstate 37 South meets I-10 in San Antonio. I-37 will see its southern terminus in Corpus Christi in 139 miles.
Interstate 45 South at Interstate 20 in Dallas. This picture shows where Interstate 45 South meets I-20 just south of downtown Dallas. The Louisiana city of Shreveport is about 180 miles to the east and Fort Worth is about 25 miles to the west of this junction.

Loop 1 North at Ranch Road 2222 in Austin. This picture shows where Loop 1 (aka the MO-Pac, since the Missouri-Pacific rail line runs down the center of the freeway at some points) meets 2222 in Austin. 2222 connects Austin with the Lake Travis area to the west.

Interstate 10 East at US 69 in Beaumont. This photo shows the exit for US 69 South in Beaumont. US 69 will have a brief multiplex with I-10 through Exit 853 where it turns north towards Lufkin, hence its inclusion as a control city along with Baton Rouge. Also notice how Baton Rouge is used as the I-10 control city instead of Lake Charles or even Lafayette, Louisiana.
Interstate 10 East at Interstate 45 in Houston. This picture shows Interstate 10 East approaching 45 near downtown Houston. The elevated viaduct in the photo is the I-10 HOV lane that brings HOV's in and out of downtown Houston from Interstate 10 west of downtown.
