In 1974, 3M revolutionized the scented sticker market by producing (And probably giving many away to schools) "Library Kits" that contain multiple sheets of scented stickers and a sample "Fact" sheet. 3M also produced round and die-cut Stickers around the same time.

1977 would forever change the world of Scratch and Sniff stickers. Creative Teaching Press of California produced the first "Retail" series of round scented stickers. Teachers loved 'em, and soon tests and homework papers were adorned with these wonderful stickers.
