Survival provides services for 34 counties in the state of Mississippi. Survival's Mission We provide physical, emotional, and financial support to survivors and family members whose lives are forever changed by such violence. Survival serves as an advocated for all victims regardless of socio-economic status, disability, age, sexual orientation, race, gender, ethnicity, or religious beliefs. It is our wish to provide "A Light in the Darkness" and a message of hope to the survivors of violent crime. Survival is dedicated to honoring the memory of the victims and encouraging the recovery of the survivors and accomplishes this by promoting a spirit of leadership, compassion and protection on an individual, community and state-wide basis, in support of our belief that every American citizen has the right to be free from fear in the home, workplace, and community.
