A fine line exists between that of personal rights as well as public safety. A small retrovirus, 90 nanometers in size, invisible to the naked eye and even to a high-powered microscope, now straddles that line. In this tug of war, people are walking wounded and dying in large numbers. America has already lost 400,000 people to AIDS; another 600,000 to 900,000 are HIV-infected and will meet the same fate.

The smiles, the hugs, the moonlit walks, the signs of love I’ve yet to show. But woe unto me should I neglect, to end the day on a bended knee for on who always through the years has cried to God in prayer for me. Mother may the Lord grant you the gifts I cannot give; Peace and joy for My Mother I pray. Teach me to love in word of the Lord. As I treasure each passing day.
