Michael Jackson is one of the biggest selling music artists of all time.  He has been performing since he was a young boy and has released the world's best selling album, Thriller - estimated to have sold over 50 million copies since its release in 1982.

Michael Jackson has almost performed some of the largest world tours in music HIStory.  The 1988 Bad Tour had over 120 dates, and 1997's HIStory World Tour had an audience over 4 million, as people all over the world watched Michael perform his most famous hits over his massive career.

Michael Jackson has gained a reputation as one of music's greatest innovators.  He was the first black artist to have a video played on MTV.  His music videos are more like short stories than a typical promo video.  They are unique for their movie like storylines and incredible choreography.
