Punk Music pisses people off.

By Evan: "Punk" music is without a doubt one of the most obvious signs that our world is headed for the apocalypse. It is apparent to anyone who knows the meaning of punk that it most likely died along with the breakup of the Sex Pistols. But ohhh, how bands cash in on the punk image. Good Charlotte, perhaps one of the worst bands to come out since O-Town filmed a music video in a prison setting talking about how much they hate celebrities who do a lot of complaining. Am I the only one who realized that they are bitching celebrities who are bitching about other, better known bitching celebrities with legitimate reasons to be bitching? Magazine and newspaper articles refer to them as a punk band, however I was under the impression that punk bands weren't big fans of major corporations…Good Charlotte must not have been let in on this little tid-bit. They and New Found Glory, and equally shitty punk band have ventured forth on their Honda tour, blatantly pushing the products of a major corporation. Our bitching Benedicts seem to have sold out. By the way, the next time I hear "Blink-182 sold out!" Or, "Green Day sold out," I'm going to stab that person in the face with the most blunt object available. Blink-182 and Green Day don't any longer refer to themselves as punk bands. However, can anyone honestly name a time that Blink did anything that was anti….anything? Their guitarist got kicked out of high school for drinking, which doesn't seem like too drastic a punk image to sell out on. And what have they done to sell out? Spend more time promoting their albums? You're all telling me that you wouldn't be making money if you were in their place? You're all green with envy of the fact that they're living in fat ass mansions and you put on a black neck tie and wear Converses and think that makes you punk, which in itself is pseudo-punk at best. The idea of punk is to be, once again, anti everything. If you buy something to try to maintain a punk image, you just sold out, genius. Just think about that from now on you bitching little bitches.
