Chapter 4

"The real St.Nick!" Peter grinned.

"Hello Peter! I got your letter and thought it was very sweet. But I'm not able to make that wish come true." the man said.

"Oh, well. It's okay. I have another thing I want. I want a little boy named Andrew to get what he wants for Christmas. I hope he has a happy one." Peter grinned.

"Still asking things for other people. Of course you've always done that. Such a kind heart." The man smiled.

"Who are you?" Mike demanded.

"Don't you know?" the man smiled.

"I know you're not Santa, because Santa doesn't exist."

Peter gasped. "Michael!"

The man reached into his red bag and pulled out a fire truck. He sat it on Mike's lap.

Mike's mouth dropped. "That's what I asked for when I was six. I didn't get it, and that's when I stopped believing in Santa."

"You stopped believing in Santa when you were six?" Micky asked.

"I matured early." Mike said.

"I guess."

"I wanted to give it to you, but it got stuck in my sack. I was going to give it to you the next year. But you stopped believing." the man smiled sadly.

"This is so weird." Micky whispered.

"Micky!" the man called.

Micky whimpered. "How do you know my name?"

"He knows everyone's name. He's santa." Peter grinned.

"I have something for you." the man smiled as he handed Micky a pair of drum sticks.

"Thank you. This is what I wanted." Micky grinned.

"Peter, I have something for you." the man said handing Peter a pair of moccasins.

"Wow!" Peter grinned.

"Um, try 'em on." Mike said in shock by everything that was going on.

"Perfect fit." Peter grinned again.

"Well I best be off. I just wanted to make a special trip here first." the man smiled.

"Wait! Where's Davy's present!?" Peter asked.

"He'll get his present in the morning. For it's not in the sack." the man winked.

"Man, your present must be huge." Micky said in awe.

"I don't get it." Mike muttered after the man left.

"Boy, he sure knew alot about us. You don't think...?" Micky started to say.

"Theres no such thing as Santa...yet he knew what I wanted when I was six."

"That's because that was Santa." Peter grinned.

Davy awoke from a deep sleep and rubbed his eyes. Yawning he climbed out of bed and looked out the window. His mouth dropped from shock.

"Peter! Peter! Wake up!" he cried.

Peter opened his eyes and grinned at his friend.

"Good morning." Peter said.

"It's snowing! I mean it's not sticking or anything! But still it's snowing! That's what I wanted! A white Christmas and in a way I got it!" Davy gasped.

He ran upstairs to get Mike, and Micky.

Peter laughed as he heard Micky yell "Let's build a snowman!"

"You dummy! How are we supposed to do that?" Mike asked.

"You're not a morning person are you?" Micky laughed as the three went back downstairs.

"And you're just now figuring it out?" Davy laughed.

"Let's open our presents." Peter suggested.

The four entered the living room. After opening their gifts Mike, Micky, and Peter looked at each other.

"Hey, Davy. Close your eyes." Peter grinned.

After Davy did, Micky slapped an envelope in Davy's hands.

"Open your eyes. It's from all of us." Peter said with a dimpled grin.

"You guys got me an envelope! How thoughtful!" Davy "glushed".

"Open it ya bonehead." Mike laughed.

Davy pulled out some money. His eyes widened.

"There's enough there for you to have a round trip to England." Mike explained.

"You may not have been able to spend Christmas with your family. But you might be able to spend your birthday with them." Peter smiled.

"I don't know what to say." Davy said softly.

"A thank you would be nice." Micky playfully teased.

Davy sat the envelope down and gave Micky a warm hug.

"Thank you."

"Anytime man." Micky smiled as he returned the hug.

Davy then hugged and thanked Peter and Mike.

"I'm going to go back!" Davy said racing to the downstairs bedroom.

"Well this has been an interesting Christmas." Micky grinned.

"Yeah. My opinion towards Santa has...changed." Mike said.

A small smile formed on his face.

"Michael?" Peter called.

Mike turned towards him.

"Is there really a Santa Claus?" Peter asked.

Mike smiled. "Yes, Peter. There really is a Santa Claus."
