May Events

Here are some pictures from events that have taken place so far in May. A couple of them are from special events held for Seniors and one is from Field day.

May Crowning

On May 1st, 2002 was May Crowning when seniors honor their moms and Mary. There is a small prayer service where tributes to moms are read followed by a ceremony crowning Mary and giving flowers to her. Kim got to carry the weath of flowers to crown Mary. After the service we went to Friday's on the river with our moms. It was an lot of fun. A highlight was when Kelly wrote a quick note to her mom on a napkin and read it to the whole table! LOL

Field Day

Being seniors we finally got to be the first ones to eat on Field Day! After Breakfast with the Freshmen, graduation practice, and a prayer service, we went to the senior patio to eat hot dogs, and veggis dogs (Lauren lol). While we were eating Cristina complained of having a bag of chips with practically no chips in it. A few minutes later we hear Cristina say "Who put this in her?" as she holds up a very large BBQ covered BOLT. Everyone bursts in laughter at the sight. After everyone says they didn't put it in the bag, we figured out that it must of been from a machine and that led to the reason why she had no chips in her bag!

Progressive Dinner

On May 3rd, 2002 the Mother's Club held a special dinner for the seniors. Tis year it was on the West side. Appetizers were at the Bollin's house and then dinner was at the Bley's house who live almost right next door. As we went to sit down for dinner we saw little picture frames with each of our Freshman pictures in them. It was funny to see how much we have changed in the last four years! I don't know who has changed the most though.
