Artists' Statement: When I look at the world, I see subtle moments which seem to tell a story or evoke an emotion. As a painter, I want to capture these moments using light and detail to bring them alive. We miss so much as we hurry through our lives, I want to slow things down, maybe give the viewer a chance to stop with me, possibly even smile at the sweet and the ordinary as we glance past each day.

Welcome to the showcase homepage of my artwork. I am an artist working in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia, Canada. Mostly self taught, I've spent my life drawing and painting, using all media, but I am truely addicted to watercolor. I'm an active member of the Dartmouth Visual Arts, Visual Arts Nova Scotia,(including the PAINTS program), and am an associate with the Canadian Society of Water Color Artists. I began illustrating books in 1997, and have had an active business with portraits and wall murals for many years. I began teaching in 1991 with various workshops on the go. I have a fabulous husband who puts up with all this, and four sons, 19,17,16 and 5. This site will hopefully showcase my creations and act as a conduit for you, the artlover.
