Tom Baumer - Lead Guitar
The "serious man" of the group, Tom has always been on hand to dissuade the rest of us from doing stupid stuff we'd all regret, cheers Tom. (Except that horrible, horrible attempt to cover Papa Roach, let us never speak of that again!) Tom is really a very clever bloke, (he applied to Oxford to do Medicine you know) and really at first glance seems a bit out of place in our group, but at heart he is a top bloke and an ace guitarist, who goes about his task with brutal efficiency and uses his superior musical abilty to keep the rest of us in check. He plays the Oboe to an asurdly high level, and is pretty handy on the piano too, so its not surprising how we feel slightly overpowered by his musical abilty in practices. Again, cheers Tom!
Tom plays a lovely blue "funk" guitar, but it was cheap and he'd much rather tell you about his rather spiffing new amp with cost far more than his guitar and takes up more space in my room than even most of Henry's paraphernalia, which is no mean feat. In the practices in my room the greatest challenge is always not the songs we play, nor keeping in time, but rather trying to fit the plethora of instuments, amps and wires into the small space that is my bedroom, always enjoyable. Finally Tom has to be credited for bringing along a video camera to one of our least successful practices, so we could capture the musical torture forever, and for not smiling while playing. Ever.||| Home |||
