Treize Khushrenada tried his hand at making his own gundam. He did a great job. He produced the Epyon, a very strong gundam with claws, a short sword, and a heated whip! Sound cool? It is. Not just that, but it has the ZERO system, which enhances the pilot's abilities by showing the pilot his/her enemies.
The word "Epyon" means "next" in Greek. A very appropriate name for a gundam like this, kind of a "next" improvement after the wing ZERO. As for features, this thing has it all except for a beam cannon, but it has the greatest speed of all of the gundams.
The main weapon is the "Heat Rod", which is really a whip. It's made out of heated blades which make up a spinal column, which are constantly rotating. This whip can destroy THREE mobile suits in one whip. As an auxilary weapon, the Epyon has a Beam Sword, not like the Wing Gundam's beam saber. The beam sword is smaller, easier to carry. One swipe from the sword can blow up a spacecraft. Of course the "Epyon Claws" serve as a last resort. The claws can shred enemies, but only at really close quarters. Their point is to serve as landing gear.
