Relena is the pampered adoptive daughter
of an Earth Alliance minister, and the undisputed
queen bee of her posh private school. However,
she yearns for something more in her well-ordered life,
and her chance encounter with Gundam pilot Heero Yuy
soon provides exactly the kind of excitement she'd been
longing - plus an element of dangerous flirtation.
Early in the story, Relena's dying foster father
reveals her real identity: she is the daughter of
King Peacecraft of the Cinq Kingdom,
spirited away to safety when the kingdom
was razed by Alliance troops. Relena
soon decides to continue the pacifist work of
her true parent, and becomes a leading advocate for peace
and nonviolence in an increasingly chaotic world.
My opinion on Relena:
I don't see why so many people
dislike her. I mean, after awhile she
stopped chasing him, he was the one in fact who came
to her in the end. And sure sure he pointed
the gun in her face, but did you ever see him
shoot her? No, so I don't see what the
big deal is about.And I mean, you can't
exactly blame her that so many people want
to kill her. Look at her job
for pete's sake. And its not
that she wants to get Heero killed,
but he says its his job. Well
who assigned him to it?
I didn't see zechs, Noin, or anyone tell him to protect her.
He just does. Relena is one
of my favorite female characters in GDW,
besides Hilde and Noin. And for
a girl that can't even
vote yet, she sure does a
lot of crap for people who don't
and do hate her.
