Outsider

When life dealt him a bad hand,
H would never start to stray.
Determined eyes and stubborn chin held firm,
When wild wolves start cutting him away.

I’ve seen him cast a wary smile,
I’ve seen him turn away.
I’ve seen him give it everything he’s got,
I’ve seen how they make him pay.

Caught on the outside lookn’ in,
Never what they thought he should be.
Striking his own path,
Clearing the way for me.

I’ve seen him cast a wary smile,
I’ve seen him turn away.
I’ve seen him give it everything he’s got,
I’ve seen how they make him pay.

So he’ll keep on striding onwards,
Casting their thoughts aside.
And someday he might find himself,
Where he can really belong.

I’ve seen him give it everything he’s got,
I’ve seen how they make him pay.
He’s just stuck on the outside lookn’ in,
An outsider, until another day.
