Sailormoon is the manga by Naoko Takeuchi. It is about a girl from Tokyo who finds out she is the reincarnation of Sailormoon.
Originally there was a manga called Codename Sailor V which was about Sailor Venus the Leader of the Inner Senshi/ Soldiers who protected Sailormoon, but this was changed to the story of Pretty Soldier Sailormoon.
The Sailormoon manga introduced the Outer Senshi who protected the whole of the Moon Kingdom. Then later came the Amazon Quartet, Senshi named after 4 comets, then the Sailor Starlights and their Princess Fireball who come from another Solar System.
The story revolves around Sailormoon and the Sailor Senshi who fight for love and justice. One of the storylines running through it is the story of the love between Sailormoon and Tuxedo Mask. This goes back to their previous life on the Moon Kingdom.
