Well, the "Ocean Group Dubbing DBZ with old cast" rumor has recieved more answers recently. FUNimation has absouletely NO involvement with this. Speculations are that Ocean Group might be doing there own dub of DBZ indepenent of FUNimation. This would not be the first time a series is dubbed by two different companies, but little info is known.

Following Daizenshuu EX's Feature The Sean Schemmel Experience, they have recently complied an interview with another Dub Voice Actor in their newest feautre Settin' Strait with Sonny. It's incredibly long, up to an hour if you listen to the MP3s.

MY GOD! Today's dubbed DBZ was actually DECENT! And tommorow's episode will be called "SUPER VEGETA." This hints that they'll actually leave that whole Super Vegeta thing in! I'm still pissed that the line "Take this! I call this one SUPER VEGETA BIG BANG ATTACK!" was removed, but I can settle for a fuckin' EPISODE named after it. However, it pissess me off that I'm forced to congratulate FUNimation every time they get something right. They should just...get it right all the time! I never find myself saying "Whoa! That line was actually decently dubbed!" during a Tenchi Episode, beacuse it's ALWAYS GOOD!

Guys, I'm thinking about changing the name of the site again. It's really hard when people ask for my site URL, and I tell them it's "Animefreakz.cjb.net, but remember to spell it with a Z!" I'm changing it to "Super Anime Zone," but don't even try registering that name with CJB because I already did, you commie bastards! ^_^

More information has been discovered about the mysterious "Cast Returning" Rumor. Here is a quote from Ian Cortlett (voice of Goku for Seasons 1 and 2):
"I heard of this. It's a weird anomaly of distribution rights or something... I think IPP/Ocean sound has the Canadian rights to record shows, so it's independent of Funimation. But alas I won't be doing them if IPP has anything to do with the production"
Ummm...this is a little confusing. What I THINK he's saying is that Ocean Group has a lisence to dub DBZ. If he's implying that Ocean is also dubbing DBZ, I really doubt that. I think the primary TV Audience wants to get on with the story, rather then see redubbed old episodes. This story is still shrouded in mystery.

The Trunks Special has now been realeased nationwide. A few things of note: Funimation hired some actual bands to do the music. While not as good as the Japanese Score, it certainly is better then whoever composes for the Toonami version. And thank god...no Freddie Prince Jr.

Sorry I haven't updated for nearly a week. I couldn't forsake you guys and not give you your site of the week, now could I?

Hmm...a rumor's around the net that the Ocean Group cast is returning to the DBZ Dub. Everyone seems to be saying very different things. Doc Harris and Brain Drummond (or possibly people pretending to be them) have e-mailed top DBZ Webmasters that they would be returning to the FUNimation studio, and that the company's building was moving back to Vancouver. However, Chris Sabat and Sonny Stairt have said that it's in no way true. Other then the possiblity that it's all a hoax, they could have misspharsed what they ment to say, and may just be there to Dub Movies 6 and 7 which are going to be realased theatrically. I really don't know what to make of this, so I won't make anymore assumptions.

BIG NEWS! And this time I got it before any of the big sites! This info comes from an interview with Sean Akins, the producer of Toonami: 1. Outlaw star is pretty much 95% confirmed and should show up on toonami in late 2000 or early 2001. 2. Endless Waltz will be showing November 20th, and in that same month Blue Submarine #6 will show. 3. The orginal MSG will be the next Gundam Series shown on CN, followed by the OVAs. Toonami hopes to put every single Gundam series on TV. 3. They are looking to bring the tenchi movies in, though I doubt they can do much with Tenchi Forever. And 4. They are considering Rurouni Kenshin. Whoa.

Ever seen Comedy Central's BattleBots? Well, me and a bunch of my friends are building one! This robot is called Quadruplue Threat. I will purchase a drive motor from my local hobby shop, and program the frequency modulator to that of my remote. I will then build a dome-shaped steel frame around it. Then, I will attach four poles which have saws on them. Each of these poles has a cheap motor inside which I can control by moving it up or down. It will run on tank treads. The project is early in it's infancy but it will kick ass when it's done.

But, I am againist sites that realease all episodes, force people to click banners, or ones which upload episodes of the dub.

The last few episodes of DBZ have been pretty good. The only REALLY stupid dialouge thus far is Vegeta's Sarcasm when he says "I guess these are the SCARY Andriods!" I hope stupid lines such as this are rid of the Funimation Studio and taken outside to be flogged.

My opionon on Season 4 of DBZ is probably what you people have be longing for since your birth, so I'll give it to you. Andriod 19 sounds like shit, Gero is prounced wrong, some horrible polka/horror/bettlejuice music plays as Andriod 19's Theme, and the Big Bang Attack is called "A little going away present for you!" It blows horse blows and should not be viewed by anyone. Really.

Man, I haven't updated for almost a week! I HATE SCHOOL! WHY WON'T IT BURN IN THE MOST FIERY, DEEPEST, LONESIST, MOST HORRIFYING PIT OF HELL FOR ALL ETERINITY! 0_0;;;; School makes people satinic.

With the begining of new episodes of DBZ, the CRAPTACULAR Gundam Wing is now the least watched show on the toonami block! YEAH! More people have realized the CRAPPINESS of Gundam Wing! Unfortunetly...trailing just behind DBZ is Sailor Moon (good god no). Well, at least Tenchi is beating the shit outta Gundam Wing!

Hmm...don't you find it odd that Gundam has slipped on the Lycos Top 50, yet Gundam was voted BEST ANIME OF ALL TIME by a Japanese Magazine Poll? I'll tell you why...because the people on Lycos searching for "Gundam" are searching for "Gundam Wing!" A SHITACULAR series, as more people are discovering. And those Newtype JAPANESE people like the UC Stuff. GO JAPAN! (Note: Newtypes can only be born in Japan ^_^)

YAY! I wrote a Rurouni Kenshin Anime Spotlight! And yes, I designed that image myself. Isn't Photoshop Grand? I start school on the 7th so you won't see as many updates lately, plus I'm using my remains of the Summer to watch more Gundam outside of Wing. So, I can sit on my ass and watch MSG movies all day while you wait for me to update. Sorry. In other words, :( for you...and :) for me! ^_^

After seeing alot of outside Wing Gundam, I hereby proclaim...GUNDAM WING SUCKS! If you're a REAL Gundam fan you'll watch the three MSG Movies and the OAV series'. You won't be getting any more Gundam Wing Info around here, but I'll leave what I did up for you people that still like it. I might write a new Mobile Suit Profile Page to which will expand upon the dull mobile suits of Wing.

Yesterday, I promised an Image Gallery overhaul. Well, it isn't gonna happen until RorrimLife CHECKS HIS FUCKING MAIL! I had a plan all worked out. If you try to link an image directly off of Crosswinds server, it won't display as to not cause bandwith problems. So, since RorrimLife's site Trencatmafia.org is hosted by FortuneCity (100 MB space), I asked if I could get my image gallery hosted in his directory. If I don't get a response soon, I'll just sign up for FortuneCity just for my image gallery. CHECK YOUR MAIL RORRIMLIFE!!!

This corrects an earlier post. You may have noticed that Gundam Wing did not air on CN. DBZ took its place. This will likely be the case Monday as well, as the Season 4 debut is expected to take up a two hour block. CN's schedule should return to normal on Tuesday the 5th. And, the damn ThunderCats will be replaced by Reboot on the same day, but TC will remain in the Rising Sun Block.

You know what sucks? I have five VERY funny movie clips of me walking around with my camera where I make fun of my mom and the rest of my family. Unfourtently, Angelfire is having trouble showing MPEGs. They would run fine through the directory, but if you tried downloading them through a link they would "have the wrong Network path." Real doesn't have that problem so I tried changing it to .rm...didn't work. Guess you guys will never get to see my incredible works of art. :(

If you didn't know by now, Kidmark is realizing the 13 dubbed episodes of the original DragonBall on DVD, with, get this, NO SUBTITLE OPTION. Why the hell would anyone wanna by a dub only DVD of something that was dubbed years ago and is already on VHS with NO new options, and have it heavily censored!? DO NOT BUY THESE DVDS THEY SUCK!!!!!!!!!!

Game Reviews is now Dreamcast Game Reviews and a new one is also up for Gundam Side Story.

FUNimation will be attending the GenCon Anime Convention in Millwalkue. Well, no one I know is anywhere near Millwalkue, but I'll try to talk to some people that are managing to go. Then I can report all major announcements regarding the dubbing of everyone's favorite Anime Show!

Gundam Wing: Endless Waltz will air on Cartoon Network on October 20. They will be showing the three OVAs and not the Endless Waltz Movie, as previously thought. However, Cartoon Network will be removing the repeat scenes in each episode and will be airing them in one block. This is rather odd, because the Endless Waltz Movie is nothing more then the three OVAs combined with a bit of extra footage during the final battle. Maybe the movie liscense would cost to much money. Oh well, Cartoon Network really confuses me sometimes.

Another shocking revaletion, Viz has admitted to censoring their DragonBall and DragonBall Z Mangas due to parental concerns. This is just not right. The parents should have taken responsibillity and if they don't want there kids seeing blood or minior nudity then they shouldn't let there kids own them. Alright, here's my sorry excuse for an update. I'm here to tell you that the only time you should visit Planet Frieza is to flame the creators horribly. They stole about half of their content from The Ultimate DBZ Information Site. And don't go telling me that Planet Frieza had it first, cause they didn't. TUDBZIS has been around for 3 years and all the sections they stole where created the same time the site was created. SO TOGETHER LET'S DESTROY PLANET FRIEZA!!!

Have you seen the DBZ DVDs? Not at all what I expected. The Subtitle timing...sucks. You can barely read the Subtitles! And, worst of all, a horrible glitch. Start the disk from "Opening" and the Subtitles will just be the script from the Dub. Wait until the Trunks DVDs come out so that they get them right.

Many of you have complained that while this site has alot of content, it has next to no news. Well that will change. I promise! I will now provide full coverage of all major Anime News. By the way, I'm working on a new section. It will be called "Fan Opionons" which is basically the same as the Editorial page except you can submit your own. So if you have an opionon about the new subbed DBZ DVDs, or anything like that, send it to me now. Yes, I know I spelled Opionon wrong. But by the time the new section is up, I'll look it up in the old Dictionary.

What's the hardest section to update on this site? It's the Gundam Wing Episode Guide, and it's just been updated. Writing something for just one episode can take up to two hours. Why so long for such a short show? Well, it's not like DragonBall Z where they spend half the episode fighting. There's lots of important stuff going on. Plus I gotta pause the DVD now and then to type, setting up the DVD takes abit...I don't know if I'll ever get the whole series done... ::sighs::

UGH! Someone write these damn episode guides for me! It's now an availble job in the Staff section.

Another name change, Pokémon Attack is now the "Pokémon Puzzle Leuage." It feautures all 250 Pokémon (possibly even #251, Serebii). There is a GB and N64 version, costing $30 and $60.

I have been updating but to lazy to post it on the main page. First of all, the new layout is in full effect. All my sections are on the toolbar, and on EVERY SINGLE PAGE you will find the toolbar. So, if you're lazy like me, this should make your experince more enjoyable! And I added a high score competition to Neo Pong.

The server move won't take much longer. The FTP account has been installed through www.PokeGames.com's server, but I still gotta move all my stuff. It won't take longer than a week for all my stuff to be there. And yes, I will still update pretty often in the process.

Raichupacabra of Pokémon Abode played a very mean April Fools joke! He said that there was an official operation in which a Pokémon Game was being constructed for the Dolphin. He even provided Screen Shots but he made them. So if you see this on any other site (he fooled alot of people) now you know it's fake!

YAY! You have no idea what I've been through in the past 6 days. I got a CD Burner installed so I had to do that little update on a crappy 33K modem on my brother's laptop. I will now normally update during the server move.

I'm writing a novel entitled "Electronic Fusion Techa." I'll post that here as soon as it's finished.

Pokémon is ending soon in Japan, therefore ending it in the rest of the world! WAHHH!!! In edition to the third movie, "Lord of the Unknown Tower," the VA that does the Japanese voice of Ash (Satoshi) announced that a fourth and final movie is in the works. In it, Satoshi opens the GS Ball he's been carrying around, and inside...HE FINDS THE 251st POKéMON, SEREBII!

Sorry for the lack of updates. There just has been no news lately, UNTIL NOW! www.pokegames.com has offered to host MY little site! In Pokémon news, three new episodes aired today on Kids! WB: Snack Attack, A Shipful of Shivers, and Meowth Rules, a rather touching episode that ALMOST brought tears to my eyes (Bye Bye Butterfree is the only episode that has done this).

BREAKING NEWS: The crazy Anti-Pokémon hacker, True Anti Hero, turned out to be none other than my best friend's friend Kai. These were his exact words when I suspected him: yeah, you got me! THe jig is up! I did it all! I am a kill krazy basterd destroying pages kuz I am a mean man. Thanks to RorrimLife for assiting me in finding this out!

AHHHHHH!!! TRUE ANTI HERO IS AFTER ME!!!!!! Using technology from his page, GSL, he plans to corrupt this entire page with porno! Apparently, he's pissed that I insulted RorrimLife's page (if you don't know what I'm talking about, click here). God I hate hackers...

Not much news in the world of Pokémon today. Perhaps it's noteable that Pokémon: The First Movie (in other words, the crappy version), came out on VHS and DVD today. Those with a DVD Player (such as well...me) will take into account one of the DVD's exclusive feautres: Commentary. Rumour has it that there will be commentary from these guys at 4KIDS Entertainmet that will talk about all the things they destroyed in the dubbed version. And it contains the animated version of the Japanese radio drama "The Birth of Mewtwo" in both the VHS and the DVD.

The Time is 8:04 AM Pacific Standard time. Why am I updating so early? I mistook the 3 new episodes for today rather than next week. HOW COULD I FORGET SOMETHING I POSTED ON MY OWN SITE! Damn.....

A bit of a problem I've got. I hope some HTML experts can help me. Anyway, I want to know how to make a control panel out of sound files. I think it is quite annoying to have music blasting out at you on the Anime Spotlight page. Please help not just me, but the the public that has been denied the pleasure of viewing a half-way desant page! ^_^

I found some News! Turns out there is going to be a celebration of the realease of Mewtwo Strikes Back on VHS and DVD (albeit dubbed) going on in the WB Store in Times Square. 50 Rockettes will be there, along with a giant Pikachu coming out of a giant Pokéball, and a marching band. How did I miss this before? Also, hidden in five MSB videos are golden tickets. If you get a golden ticket, you get: a first edition Team Rocket TCG set, and a trip for two to Japan. When ya get to Japan, you'll get to meet Mr. Ishihara, the president of Creatures and Creator of the Trading Card Game, and visit the Pokemon Center in Tokyo where you will get a $1000 shopping spree!

Today "Navel Maneuvers" (Hehehe....Navel. And guess what the island is shaped like!) aired on Kids! WB. The episode was OK. If you head over to the Universal Pokémon Network, and click on Recent News, it will link you to a page in which you can download an English Dubbed Clip of an Episode that hasn't been aired yet. How did they get this fotage? Pokémon is Dubbed in Canada, and New Episodes are shown there first.....
