Ultimate Fighting Championship

GamePro Style Rating (1.0-5.0)
Graphics: 5.0
Stunning. No other way to describe it.
Sound: 5.0
The sounds set a gritty atmosphere suiting the game. The voices of Bruce Buffer and "Big" John MCarthy make it just like the real thing.
Control: 5.0
Easily pull of combos. You can figrue them out by fighting a single match.
Fun Factor: 5.0
Incredibly addictive. Fighter Creation adds months of replay value.

Based on the Pay-Per-View Event, this is definatlly the most realistic, and maybe the most fun, fighting game ever. Two men walk into an octagonal arena, they kick eachother's asses, and one goes home proud, the other shamed forever. Knockout your oponnet, put him in a submission hold, all in 32 different fighting styles. This includes, Kickboxing, Wrestling, Kung Fu, Pit Fighting, Judo, Submission, Jiu-Jitsu, Freestyle and more.

You're not ever going to stop liking this game. Every fight feels fresh and new, never repetitive. Buy it as soon as possible.

Gundam Side Story 0079

GamePro Style Rating (1.0-5.0)
Graphics: 4.0
Impressive FMV sequences. All MS drawn in real time. I've seen better though.
Sound: 4.0
The music sets a mood for warefare, though it's pretty reptitive. Mobile Suit sound effects set a realistic atmosphere.
Control: 3.5
Although confusing at first, once you learn it's reasonable to work with. B.I.C. system is very user-friendly.
Fun Factor: 4.0
If you don't like Gundam, you probably won't like this game. Plus, mission goals can be kinda confusing. But, it's a fun real-time Gundam warefare experince. Short, though.

In this Gundam game, you are Lt. Rayer of the Federation Army. You command the independent squad "White Dingo" during the counter-attack againist the Duchy of Zeon in Austriala. Your squad consists of two other Mobile suits and a hover truck named Oasis. Not only do you get to have real-time Mobile Suit combat, you can also command your squad to attack specific Mobile Suits or order Oasis to search for the enemy using the B.I.C. (Battle Intergration Console) System. You can also order your squad to defend or to search. It's kinda like real-time startedgy except you get to actually fight as well.

There are, of course, problems. The mission goals can be very confusing. And sometimes, you're not sure if a Target is actually destroyed or not. The first few missions are easy, but expect them to get harder and, unfournently, more confusing. The game is also pretty short, but pretty rewarding. For fans only.

Marvel VS. Capcom

GamePro Style Rating (1.0-5.0)
Graphics: 2.0
This game is amazing...ON A SUPER NES! It's only as high as it is because of the high speed super cool Hyper Combos.
Sound: 4.0
The "character themes" are very cool. My complaint is that the screams the characters make when they attack get old fast.
Control: 4.0
On EASY mode, this game is very fun to play. But it's almost immpossible to fight the computer on MANUAL. But the EASY Hyper Combos are handy.
Fun Factor: 4.5
Even with the spelling errors, minor glitches, and repetive sounds, Gameplay is were it shines.

Marvel VS. Capcom is a fun game to play...period. This version is almost arcade perfect. The "Cross Fever" four-player mode is a great addition and is great for parties or other large gatherings of people.

Here is the problem...THE GAME IS ON DREAMCAST! Is it worth your money? Probably not. I figrued that if I bought the Dreamcast version, there would be tons of cool new features. I figrued that Cross Fever was cool enough. But then I found out my friend had the PS version. And believe it or not...PS HAD MORE FEAUTRES! It had "Beginer mode," which let you do Hyper Combos just by pressing any R1 and L1 (or maybe 2, can't remember). And, if you wanted hidden characters, all you have to do is beat the game with them! He told me to beat the game with Megaman to get Roll. I did..and then no Roll! And the spelling errors, don't even get me started. "All this, and I can tote Bales too!" You might as well have bought this game on import, cause the only real differenrnce is that Rockman is now called Megaman. And the canceling system could use some improvement. My Ragnanork Hyper Combo was canceled by a REGULAR Hadou-ken! This only proves that this version was rushed.

Still, the Dreamcast version is more Arcade Perfect then PS. It's fast paced action and flashly attacks will probably appeal to Street Figther fans. You should probably get the PS version, though.
