The Council of the Ages is a group of beings that act as a ruling body over all of the realms. Council members are chosen by the existing council, and serve a life term. The Council meets in the Earthly realm, as it is the favorite among the members. The Earthly realm includes the Earth, all of the planets, and the surrounding universe. At the end of the universe, another realm begins, and so on, and so on. Malus, A member of the Council of the Ages, prophesized the birth of a girl who will be born with a special gift of unconsciously opening a porthole to other realms via her dreams and nightmares. (All dreams and nightmares are visions of other realms, but this girl opens a porthole to whatever she visions) This allows travel between the different realms via the porthole, which means beings from the girls dreams, and nightmares, can travel to the Earthly realm, where the girl lives (traveling between the realm's is otherwise impossible, except for the members of the Council of the Ages). Because of the potential danger this girl could cause, Malus sent a group of soldiers to find Tess Grotta, the village where the girl will be born, and kill her parents to prevent potential harm to the Earthly realm. The soldiers burn and ravage Tess Grotta, which is deep in the forest, yet the girls parents manage to escape. A different girl's parent's were killed in the attack. Seeing her parents die unleashes a dormant power inside of Feron, who then in a wild rage kills a good number of the soldiers, while the rest stagger off into the forest stupified. Feron swears to protect her village and never let such a massacre happen again. Now we leave her for a while and go back to the Council of the Ages. Because of the massacre he ordered, the other Ages remove Malus from his seat on the Council, and banish him to a very dark realm (nameless) without a chance of returning. He is replaced by a very old, wise man named Terratur. This man witnessed the birth of the Earth way back when the Ruler first created it, and his wisdom is thought by many to be infinite(read Tess Grotta Revealed for more info on the original ruler). He is known throughout the realms for his skill as a teacher and creator of a form of martial arts involving a long shaft with a light blade on the end, called a Claramina. He also has the ability to teach very advanced pupils of his how to materialize a blade of light energy from the shaft, however he has found only one of his pupils capable of doing this besides himself. This is Aurea. After a while goes by, Somnia, the girl with the special gift of opening the portholes is born, as was prophesized, and strange beings are sited more reguarly around the Earth(they came from other realms through the portholes). Terratur sends Aurea to seek out Feron so they might put an end to the beings that were doing harm to some of the villages. Aurea grew up learning and perfecting her fighting skills as one of his students, and has reached the level necessary to produce the Claramina, and had become well-known throughout the land for her amazing abilities. When she finally found Tess Grotta, she was encountered by Feron. They have a tremendous battle, but Feron ends up beating her opponent with no trouble at all. It turns out she too had perfected the techniques of the Claramina, without ever being a student of Terratur's! She is about to deliver the final blow when a villager identifies Aurea, and begs Feron to stop. She does, and Aurea explains why she had come looking for her. They journey back to Terratur, and he tells them that Malus has traveled back to the Earthly realm through a porthole made by Somnia. The dark realm he was enclosed in for so long ate away at his soul, and he became emotionless over time; not showing any mercy and not asking for any. He had returned to the Earthly realm and with him brought an army of extremely powerful, dark beings. His intentions are to destroy the Earthly realm and the Council of the Ages, so that he may exact revenge against them for his exile. And so the war begins between the two hero's and the ex-Age who wants to conquor the Earthly realm.
