Ed has to be the strangest, craziest, but most intelligent girl out there. This child knows how to hack her way into almost any computer system. We first meet her in "Jammin' with Edward." She seems to be a huge fan of the Bebop and crew and has tracked them all over the solar system. She finally joins the crew after hacking into their main computer and bringing them to her. She also have a father. He left her in a daycare on earth seven years ago and obviously never really cared about her of course she could careless.

Ein is a young Welsh Corgi who was developed in a lab as a data dog. No one is sure quite what a data dog is but Ein seems to exhibited an intelligence well beyond that of a normal dog. Often times he solves problems that stump the Bebop crew.

These two charaters are always together, nearly inseperable. They are mostly on the show for comic relief but have a great purpose in moving the story along. The dynamic duo leave the Bebop before the series is over with a very touching last show of companionship.
