Ashitaka is the main character from Princess Mononoke. Early on in the movie a curse was placed on his arm and he was forced to leave his home village, on a quest to remove the curse. He proved to be very agile and skilled. He was an expert marksman with a bow and arrow. He also had some skill with a sword and was roughly ten times as strong as the average man. Ashitaka always fought for peace and used a red elk for transportation, never taking a side, and always trying to decide what was right to do instead. His powerful will ultimately succeeded and ended with peace being brought to all. |
