HIS DEAL: Once the most powerful being in the universe, little is known of Frieza's origin.

Frieza has proven on numerous occasions he can't be trusted. Once, he hired the Saiya-Jins to conquer planets for him. When the ruler, King Vegeta (father of Vegeta) turned against him, Frieza used his immense power to destroy the Saiya-Jin homeworld and the Saiya-Jin race for fear a Super Saiya-Jin would come and destroy him. Only four Saiya-Jins were known to survive the explosion: Goku, Vegeta, Radditz, and Nappa.

On the Planet Namek, Frieza was looking to use the Nameckian Dragonballs to wish for immortality, but was stopped when Gohan, Krillin, Vegeta, and Piccolo began an attack. After recuperating from a deadly battle with Captain Ginyu, Goku arrived at the battle scene. Upon arrival, Goku fought with Frieza and apparently defeated him with a spirit bomb. Unfortunately, Frieza survived the blast and killed Krillin, enraging Goku. When angered, Goku's power reached a new level and he became Super Saiya-Jin, at which point he defeated Frieza, who apparently died in the explosion of Planet Namek.

Naturally, death can't keep a good villain down. After recovering from the explosion of Namek, Frieza and his father, King Cold, traveled to Earth with the intention of blowing up the planet. It was at this time that Trunks first appeared, interfering and killing Frieza when he believed Goku wouldn't make it in time to stop him, as per the original history.

After his death by Trunk's hands, Frieza, King Cold, and the Ginyu Squad were sent to the Hell. Once Cell arrived, they attempted to break out and take over the world (*yawn...again), but were taken out easily by Pikon.

CURRENT WHEREABOUTS: Seeing as how Frieza is officially much, much, much, much weaker than Goku, I think he's officially out of the picture now.

BATTLES

PRE-FRIEZA SAGA

• VS. KING VEGETA--Tired of being ruled by Frieza, Vegeta's father set out to defeat Frieza, but ended up dieing.
• VS. THE SAIYA-JIN RACE--Not really a battle. Ended with Frieza destroying the entire Saiya-Jin race, save for Vegeta, Nappa, Raditz, and Goku

THE FRIEZA SAGA 

• VS. PICCOLO--While Goku was recuperating after fighting with Capt. Ginyu, Piccolo was resurrected. He merged with Nail and became a Super Namek. He appeared to have the upper hand until Frieza transformed into her 3^rd form. He used the last of his power to help Goku form the Spirit Bomb, and was severely injured by Frieza.

  (Note: Frieza's power level was NOT over 1,000,000 until his 4th form. Piccolo's power level was only about 800,000 and he woudn't have lasted very long if he was that strong. Frieza was bluffing the entire battle and didn't become that strong until his 4th form.)

• VS. VEGETA--After Piccolo fought, Vegeta believed he had become a Super Saiya-Jin and did battle with Frieza. Goku's arrival led to his death.
• VS. GOKU(normal Saiya-Jin)--Goku arrived and did battle with Frieza. With Piccolo's help, he used a spirit bomb, which they thought killed Frieza.
• VS. GOKU(Super Saiya-Jin)--When Frieza recovered from the Spirit Bomb, he killed Krillin and enraged Goku, turning him into a Super Saiya-Jin. Frieza was apparently killed.

THE ANDROID SAGA

• VS. TRUNKS--In the original history, Frieza returned with the intention of destroying Earth. Fortunatly, Goku returned just in time to stop him. When Trunks came back in time to warn Goku of the Androids, he was concerned that Goku wasn't there and believed Goku wouldn't return in time, so he interfered. Trunks defeated and killed Frieza, along with his father, King Cold.

 THE MAJIN BUU SAGA

• VS. PIKON--Silly Frieza just won't learn! He attempted to stir up some trouble in Other World's Home For Infinite Losers, but was taken out by one punch (well, it was a chop, but let's not get technical...)
