12 Years ago, a gigantic nine-tailed fox demon/spirit attacked Konohagakure (‘Hidden Leaf Village’ or ‘Village Hidden in the Leaves’), and “was so powerful that when he shook those tails landslides and tsunamis would occur”. After a long period of time of tormenting the village, a brave Shinobi (the highest level of ninja) was able to imprison the soul of the demon, and soon after, he died. The vessel used to hold in the Fox Spirit was that of a newly born child, the umbilical cord just cut. This orphan was none other than Uzumaki Naruto! The Fourth Hokage bound up all nine tails of the fox spirit into the navel of Naruto (oww). “Naruto was sacrificed for the safety of us all, to become a living vessel for the imprisonment of the fox.” It’s funny that all the adults see it differently. Naruto-kuun is seen as a threat and still the fox demon, although by law no one can tell him any of his past.
He grew up thinking everyone hates him for no reason, so Naruto started with the practical jokes.
