I love Ani DiFranco. I'm well aware that millions of other people do as well, so sometimes I feel cheesy for adoring her so very much. Her following is popularity at it's best. It makes me glad that so many can share in someone so beautiful. One time I went to see her in concert with Darling Caroline and Psyche, and they made up songs about passing buisnesses and Arlo's mom. Another time I went to see her with just Arlo and he laughed at my dancing. On yet a third ani-concerting Caro and I had to sit far far back, and I was afraid that people would think Caro and I were together, and she was afraid that she'd get hit on. I was uncomfortable with my sexuality at the time. |
